Urgent action needed:

You already know that Greater Sage-Grouse is one of the most iconic and imperiled bird species of the American West. It has already disappeared from a number of states and provinces.

Now, in spite of the urgent need for conservation, the U.S. Congress has passed a bill containing a rider that prevents the administration from protecting sage grouse under the Endangered Species Act. Send a letter to President Obama today, urging his administration to oppose further delays in the conservation of Greater Sage-Grouse.

Dear

The Obama administration is undertaking an unprecedented effort to conserve the Greater Sage-Grouse, one of the most iconic and imperiled bird species of the American West. The completion of new management plans to conserve the grouse is an essential first step to getting the dwindling population out of intensive care.

Protecting large expanses of important sage grouse habitat will help stem the decline of many species of wildlife across the American West.
