Migratory birds need your help!

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is proposing a new rule to keep birds from being trapped in oil pits, or electrocuted by power lines, but industrial interests are fighting these changes, determined to preserve the status quo—even if it means leaving protected migratory species at risk.

Take action and tell the administration and Congress to fight for migratory birds and support this new rule to strengthen MBTA enforcement and support an incidental take permitting system.

Dear [Administration and Congress],

As a bird enthusiast, I urge you to support the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, which protects migratory birds in a number of critical ways.

I urge you to stand up for migratory birds and protect them from industrial development by supporting strong enforcement of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

Thank you for helping defend migratory birds across our country.

Sincerely,
