The American Brain Tumor Association has been focused on fighting facts like this for 45 years.
Positive impact on the brain tumor community. This year we want to take that impact to an even larger level. Let’s take a look at what we’ve done in the past, as a way to bench mark what we’ll do in the future.
To date, the ABTA has awarded over $30 million in research grants to fund brain tumor research.
The ABTA has patient & caregiver meetings in 7 cities, reaches hundreds of patients each month with webinars and produces over 40 publications; distributing an average of 95,000 each year at no charge to patients or caregivers.
As a national organization the American Brain Tumor Association has a presence in every coast of the United States with over 400,000 constituents.
One person’s generosity can impact lives and together we can move mountains. Think of it this way:
One donation of $45 gives 5 brain tumor patients access to free unbiased information about their disease.
100 gifts of $145 provides free access to our annual patient and family conference for over 100 brain tumor patients in need.
1000 gifts of $545 funds ten of our nationally renowned Discovery Grants which have historically led to breakthrough treatments and has been recognized by The Scientist magazine along side The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for funding innovative, out of the box research.
