STAR animals need you.

On March 23 of this year, Mari arrived at our Brooklyn Animal Care center after her family moved out of state. She was sweet and wiggly from the start and quickly became a staff and volunteer favorite. Sadly, our veterinarians found that she has evidence of chronic ear infections. As a result, her ear canals have developed so much scar tissue that her ear canal is painful, severely narrowed, and medications are no longer helping. At this point, she needs specialized surgery to provide comfort and improve her quality of life.
