Ask your House Members to pass immigration reform that combines border enforcement with a realistic path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants. Although a majority of Americans support giving undocumented immigrants a path to citizenship, anti-immigrant forces are fomenting fear and trying to derail progress.
Tell your Representative that you want real reform that will fix our broken system and address the reality of the undocumented immigrants already living here.

Support Immigration Reform that Includes a Path to Citizenship
Dear [Decision Maker],
I am writing to ask for your support for immigration reform that reflects the best of America's founding ideals by combining border enforcement with a clear path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants already living in our communities.
The American people overwhelmingly support immigration reform with a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants and are eager for Congress to act. The Senate voted to pass bipartisan legislation (S.744), which includes important components like a pathway to citizenship for immigrants contributing to American society, increased border security, and reform of the legal immigration system. Now, it is the House's turn to pass immigration reform that combines border enforcement with a realistic path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants. I urge you to reject enforcement only approaches such as the SAFE Act (H.R. 2278) and to support a roadmap to citizenship for undocumented Americans living in the U.S. that will allow immigrants to come out of the shadows to contribute legally to society, and to stop living in fear of deportation. We need members of both parties in both the House of Representatives and the Senate to work together this year to ensure that our immigration policy upholds America's highest ideals. Tinkering around the edges with piecemeal legislation and more enforcement is not enough.
We all have family who once came to the United States seeking a better life, eager to become part of the American fabric. I urge you to reject enforcement-only measures, and work towards comprehensive immigration reform that will make the American dream a reality for the millions of individuals who are already part of our communities and contributing to American society.
