AMITA Health Housing & Health Alliance
AMITA Health Housing & Health Alliance provides stable housing and support services for individuals impacted by poverty, homelessness, HIV/AIDS, chronic disease, mental health, substance use disorder, and LGBTQ marginalization. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life through a comprehensive, holistic approach that promotes healing of the whole person; body, mind, and spirit. Started by the Alexian Brothers in 1989, the Housing & Health Alliance is celebrating 30 years of service to marginalized communities throughout Chicago and Lake County.
This approach begins with housing, the cornerstone of health care and an integral part of the AMITA Health System. Stable housing is the foundation, it provides a place to receive counseling, medical and behavioral health care - it’s a place to call home.
AMITA Health is a community partner of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and 92% of your donation comes directly to the Housing & Health Alliance for client services. Your support helps AMITA Health Housing & Health Alliance continue our essential work throughout the Chicagoland region. Please consider joining AMITA Health’s Team to support people who are living with HIV/AIDS live with dignity and purpose.
