Our pets provide comfort, support, and unconditional love. Provide support and resources to help animals and the people who love them thrive, together.

Shepherd looking fearful
Help your anxious or fearful dog gain confidence

Just like us, dogs can have all kinds of personalities. While easygoing dogs with wagging tails may be the stereotype, your dog may be shy or even fearful, especially around unfamiliar people or dogs.

Luckily, many fearful dogs will gradually improve with time, training, and trust. Help your anxious dog gain confidence with these training tips.

Pet resource fair at Animal Humane Society
Donate pet supplies to help pet parents in your community

From pet food to cat litter to flea/tick preventatives, the Community Outreach program at AHS has a consistent need for pet supplies – and that need is even larger in the summer.

Now through June 9, AHS is hosting a Community Outreach Supply Drive to gather necessary resources to support more pets and their families in our community. Drop off new or gently used pet supplies at any of our three shelter locations during business hours.

Thank you for sharing your heart with animals

On May 4, 2024, thousands of animal lovers gathered in celebration at the Walk for Animals — Animal Humane Society's largest fundraising event of the year. The Walk is always an inspiring reminder of the incredible impact we can have on animals when we come together — and this year was no exception.

Thank you for standing with Animal Humane Society and making a difference in the lives of animals. We're so grateful for our animal-loving community.
