Walk route and location

The Walk for Animals kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, at Animal Humane Society’s Golden Valley location. Walkers will wind their way through beautiful Theodore Wirth Park, turn around at the Golf Chalet, and head back to Animal Humane Society. The Walk is approximately 2.5 miles total, but you can turn around at any time.

For the safety of your dog and others, we highly recommend not using a retractable leash, but rather a 4’ or 6’ flat leash.
