Help Melissia be strong for Isaiah

Melissia tries to be strong for her 6-year-old son Isaiah. She even does dialysis overnight so she’s not away from him during the day.

Isaiah often tells his grandma, who takes care of him while she’s at dialysis, “I miss my mommy.” And sometimes he looks at Melissia before she leaves and says, "I don't want you to go,” and it breaks her heart.

“It's not just me that's dealing with my kidney disease,” she says. “It's my son, my parents, my extended family. It's affected all of our lives.”

Help families living with kidney disease stay strong this holiday season. Give your Season of Strength gift now and your gift will be doubled by a special $75,000 match.
