Your support gives her strength

As we continue our Season of Strength Campaign, we need you to stand with us for kidney patients like Caroline.

Caroline feels thankful to not be spending another holiday season in the hospital or worrying about dialysis thanks to her kidney transplant.

When Caroline was 10, she was diagnosed with double viral pneumonia. After weeks without improvement, she was admitted to a hospital and found out she had stage 4 kidney disease—caused by damage from the flu.

Kidney disease turned her whole family’s life around. Her mother Angela shares, “In the beginning, I thought we could fix it with diet but soon realized we couldn’t.” Caroline had to be homeschooled by her mother because dialysis left her too weak for regular school. Sleepovers and going out of town for the holidays were out of the question. Her immune system was just too weak, and she needed a hospital nearby.

Caroline is doing so much better thanks to her transplant, but there are many more who aren’t so lucky. That’s why we’re so grateful for this special match of $75,000. Any gift you send by December 31 will be twice as strong to provide kidney patients critical care in their time of need.

Give now and your gift will be doubled by the match.
