Update on Frontiers initiatives
Ask Anything, Change Everything
Review is underway for the more than 400 ideas from 13 different countries submitted to the Ask Anything, Change Everything challenge. Later this year, top ideas will be selected and technology teams that can realize these ideas will submit proposals. Up to 10 awards will be given, totaling $10M.
2021 Allen Distinguished Investigator Awards
The three 2021 Allen Distinguished Investigator award initiatives received more than 230 letters of intent from 15 different countries; teams with top project ideas were invited to submit full proposals. Up to 11 awards will be made for up to $16.5M total funding to support pioneering research in:
1) Micropeptides
2) Neural Circuit Design
3) Mammalian Synthetic Development
