To make the greatest impact on neuroscience and understanding human health, the Allen Institute recognizes the need to increase the diversity of voices in our teams and our external advisory councils. We’ve extended the Next Generation Leaders Council application deadline to July 12 and are actively seeking applications from Black and other underrepresented minority scientists.

New Patch-seq data and more in latest data release
Explore the openly available datasets, tools and models recently posted to brain-map.org. The latest data release includes our first Patch-seq human and mouse datasets, capturing transcriptomic, electrophysiological and morphological information from the same neurons, and a 10X single-cell RNA-sequencing dataset with gene expression for 1.1 million cells from the mouse cortex and hippocampus.
