Neuroscience Virtual Seminar Application

Thank you for your interest in applying for a virtual seminar from the Allen Institute for Brain Science. These seminars are geared towards undergraduates at the college and community college level, including pre-neuroscience biology students. Seminar topics include the open data resources from the Allen Institute, current research findings, and other topics that can be decided after acceptance.

Eligible groups include:

Primarily undergraduate institutions
Undergraduate-only institutions (e.g. liberal arts colleges)
Undergraduate programs at universities
Community colleges
Neuroscience student groups or clubs at a college or university

We strongly encourage applications from HBCUs, historically Hispanic institutions, tribal colleges, community colleges, and other under-resourced institutions. We also strongly encourage applications from groups supporting students of color, first-generation college students, women, LGBTQ+ students, students with disabilities, and other underserved populations.

Unfortunately, the number of seminars we can offer is limited. We accommodate as many requests as we can. Please note that there may be a delay between your application being accepted and when we can schedule a seminar. At this time, we are only able to accept seminar applications from institutions in North America.
