Congratulations to post-baccalaureate researcher Nelson Mukuka on presenting at Immunology 2024 and being awarded the 2024 AAI Trainee Poster Award! #AAI2024 #Immunology2024
Post-Baccalaureate Researcher at Allen institute | Biology Major, Chemistry Minor @LeMoyne-Owen college
What an amazing privilege I had to present my research at this years American Association of Immunologists conference-AAI held in Chicago. I was also particularly pleased as my Abstract was Chosen for the 2024 AAI Trainee Poster Award. Standing next to my poster and having fellow researchers stop by was a humbling experience. My sincere Appreciation to my mentor Claire Gustafson, Ph.D.for the tremendous help and guidance with the project thus far, Kathy Henderson for the daily back and forth experimental help!(making sure I have all the correct controls for my experiments haha) and for being such a wealth of Knowledge for me to tap into. I also had the opportunity to briefly connect with Curtis Henry, Ph.D. who has gracefully taken me up and shared so many resources and I am just so eternally grateful to him for the continued support. A huge shoutout to the rest of Allen Institute for Immunology, Ernie Coffey and Troy Torgerson for the amazing leadership. None of this would be possible without the hard work of the New Seasons Youth Program Family who have always supported me and provided me with resources to excel!
