Fundraising Events

Each year, The ALS Association MN/ND/SD Chapter holds several fundraising events. From The Walk to Defeat ALS®, 5K race, golf tournament, and a formal Gala, each event raises funds and increases awareness to help The ALS Association fund care services programs and vital cutting-edge research.

In 1995, the agriculture community throughout North Dakota and western Minnesota came together in support of Larry Sing in his fight against ALS. Since that time, they have been honoring Larry while supporting other individuals and families facing the challenges of ALS through the Larry Sing Memorial ALS Golf Classic. This annual event, held in Fargo and Moorhead, raises funds for The ALS Association’s mission, including the Hrbek-Sing Communication and Assistive Device Program.
