ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Progress

*NEW* Facebook Peer to Peer Support Group
The ALS Association North Carolina Chapter strives to empower, educate and support families living with ALS. The best sources of support for those affected by ALS often come from those who are living with the disease or those who provide care for a loved one with ALS. To better serve our ALS community, In lieu of our previous Peer to Peer Support Program, we have launched this new Facebook Peer to Peer Support group to promote networking and community building among other peers whose lives have been affected by ALS. It is a PRIVATE group that is hidden and only the members will be able to see and participate in it.

How to participate:
If you are not a member already, to participate you will first need to join the North Carolina Chapter Facebook page through this link: When you are a member on our Chapter Facebook page, click on the "More" tab, choose "groups" and then choose "ALSNC Peer to Peer Connections" group to "join group". Your request to join will need to be approved by chapter administrator for you to become a member. Approvals will be made within 24-48 hours.
Group members will need to follow safeguards and rules that have been put in place by the North Carolina Chapter to protect all participants. Click here for a list of Safeguards and Rules.
