ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Progress

Fundraising Events

The ALS Association understands that many of you in our ALS community may have questions and concerns related to the spread of the coronavirus, known as COVID-19. We are closely monitoring local and national government health agency guidance on this evolving situation. Our first priority is the safety and well-being of people with ALS, their families and caregivers, and our staff.

Each year we put on over 15 fundraising events. These events support our financial viability and are core to our mission. Currently, all Chapter-sponsored events are being held virtually.

For the most recent information about the coronavirus (COVID-19), The ALS Association recommends that you reference the websites for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Raise Funds to Fight Lou Gehrigs Disease: Help create a world without ALS by getting involved in the way that best suits YOU! When you fundraise with family and friends you take us closer to discovering a cure.

A Walk in Your Neighborhood

A Walk in Your Neighborhood is an opportunity for us to safely walk in our neighborhoods to honor those living with ALS and remember those who have passed. The Evergreen Chapter territory is almost a million square miles, covering the largest land area of all the Chapters - almost a quarter of the United States! We would love to see support across our whole territory, touching each corner of the area we serve. Find a Walk near you and join us in our mission to provide care & a cure for those affected by ALS!  Walk format will be updated to follow CDC, government, and local guidelines regarding Covid-19 as the walk date nears.  All events through Fall 2021 are currently virtual. Silver Lining Gala Total

What a fun night we had! The Silver Lining Gala was a success raising $140,960 through silent and live auctions, paddle raise, and donations. Thank you to all supporters who help us continue our mission to discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest. There’s still time to give. The donation link will stay open until December 3. Missed the live gala, but want in on the fun? Watch the recording on our YouTube channel. Reach out to Amara Bates at amara@alsa-ec.org or 509-863-4321 with questions.
