Community Party Events

Thank you to all of our Community Partners! You've raised thousands of dollars to support comprehensive services to people with ALS and their families, along with funding cutting edge research for treatments and a cure.

A Community Partner event is a fundraising activity that is organized and managed by a family, group or individual who is acting independent of The ALS Association St. Louis Regional Chapter. Examples of Community Partner events might include; golf outings, bike rides, auctions, raffles, walks or runs. Check out the links below for upcoming Community Partner events and to see what other groups are doing to join the fight against ALS.

Every year, more than 30 community partner events are hosted in support of The ALS Association St. Louis Regional Chapter by families, groups and individuals. Join us for the following events:

Save the Date for the 20th Annual Jim Schoemehl Run on Saturday, May 1, 2021. The Jim Schoemehl Run was created by a Webster Groves student when their marketing teacher's husband, Jim Schoemehl, was diagnosed with ALS. Over the last 19 years this event keeps getting bigger and better each time! More information to come!

Save the Date for ALS Awareness Night on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Rent One Ballpark. Join us for a pre-game walk around the field and other exciting elements for a night of ALS Awareness. Contact Lori Dobbs at to purchase tickets or for more information.
