10/17/2024 | I enjoyed Walk Day because I was able to share with others the reason for the walk and why its important to me. |
10/17/2024 | Missed Tara at the Eby afterparty. A much too demanding day for her. A friend asked for an IRA donation option. Would work for me. Could someone look into this for the Walk? |
10/17/2024 | Perfect day for it, well-organized, lots of volunteers, and great people. |
10/19/2024 | So many highlights... the people who participate in Walk Day are so inspirational, so grateful for those of us who won't give up the fight!!! The folks who run the DC walk are fantastic - extra shout out to Tara McKeon - she's awesome!!! Thank you all - see you in October 2025! Take good care, Eileen |

10/17/2024 | Just being around people who understand what you (as a caregiver or someone with ALS) is going through is heartwarming. And it is a great way to honor my best friend, Karin Gander, who had ALS for a little over 2 years before she died in December, 2022. Thank you to you, your staff and all the volunteers for your time and hard work putting this annual event together. |

10/17/2024 | We had an amazing turnout with friends coming from Atlanta, Vermont, Upstate NY, friends from the community, Professors from my school as well as students and recent graduates. It was very moving day for my wife and me. |
10/17/2024 | The monument is a beautiful location for a walk. It just wasn't long enough. It was meaningful to share this with my friend who has just been diagnosed with ALS. |
