Did you know that pups develop ALS too??? It's called DM - Degenerative Myelopathy and the dog studies ARE contributing to the human ALS studies in hopes of developing a CURE or at least they're working to slow down the progression of the disease! DM affects over 100 breeds of pups and, like people, their life expectancy is about 2-4 years from symptom onset.
Shade Out DM Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about DM and has been a supporter of the ALS community since we began this endeavor in 2017.... ALS is a horrific disease that NEEDS a CURE!!! We support all of the brave warriors both 2 legged & 4 legged that are faced with this journey and will continue to be your voice!!!

ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
