Adelaide's Lemonade StandFundraising Honor Roll
Meet Adelaide! Addie is an extraordinary young girl whose participation in the fight against ALS is inspiring. At just 12 years old she is raising money and awareness to challenge ALS. She does this in memory of her Grandma, Bina Blackwell. For two years now she has been running "Adelaide's Lemonade Stand" (the first letters stand for ALS). She sells Lemonade, cookies, homemade lanyards and rubber band bracelets. She also hands out brochures to educate people about ALS. Addie raised $500 her first year. This year her good friend Molly Warnes helped her. Their goal was $700 but they surpassed that, raising $845. They also participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and were able to create awareness for their friends and classmates about ALS. Visit Adelaide's Lemonade Stand!
