Movin' for MaryWhy I’m Movin’ for Mary…
On March 1, 2015, I completed the Cowtown ½ marathon in Ft. Worth, TX. I ran in memory of Mary Sundt who was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) in 2012. I am running this as a fundraiser to raise money and bring awareness to the illness. I first met Mary shortly after moving into our new house. Over the years we talked occasionally on the phone or when she was taking her dog for a walk. Since she was diagnosed with ALS, I have been blessed by really getting to know Mary. She is one of the most remarkable women I have ever met. Currently, there is no cure for ALS. The one thing I can do is ask you to make a tax deductible contribution to the ALS Association. Each donation will bring a cure to this disease. For More information, please e-mail movin4mary@gmail.com. In March 2013, the following article about Mary was published in the Alaska Star. You can also send a donation to:
The ALS Association Evergreen Chapter Please put Movin’ for Mary in the Memo section. If you do not want to donate online, you can download an offline donation form by clicking here.
