13.1 Miles for Paula Kovarick Segalman

Thanks for visiting our page!

Your support really means the world to us.

We are running the Key West Half Marathon on January 15th, 2018 on behalf of Paula Kovarick Segalman and need your help!

Every day, an average of 15 people are diagnosed with ALS who have a life expectancy of two to five years. Paula was a fighter and lived with ALS for 7 years. She wanted to make a difference and help every person she interacted with. Her compassion and willingness to live everyday to the fullest is something she will always be remembered for.

Both of us saw the impact that this disease has on a person and want to do what we can to help other ALS patients and their families. The ALS Association is helping people all over the country living with this disease and pushing closer and closer towards a treatment and a cure every single day.

Now, this is where you and I come in! Join the movement to cure ALS and put your dollar where it counts and help us reach our goal. Together, we will have a huge impact in the fight against ALS.

The Segalman Family has started a Scholarship in honor of Paula's life. In 2016, the Segalman family established The Paula Kovarick Segalman Family Scholarship Fund for ALS to provide educational funding to students affected by ALS. Half of the money we raise will go directly to The ALS Association and the other half to The Paula Segalman Scholarship Fund. Thanks so much for helping our fundraiser succeed and supporting The ALS Association and its programs.

Please pass the page along to anyone else who is as awesome as you!

With love,

Olivia Segalman and Sarah Lane Poole
