Cardio for Tony! (And ALS too)

Thanks for visiting my page!

I am conducting this fundraiser in honor of Tony Barrett (or DogBomb as some folks know him).

Tony is one of the most upbeat, inspiring people I have ever had the fortunate to come across. He has a tremendous, outgoing spirit and has met his ALS diagnosis with the biggest F-OFF! attitude I have ever seen. His positivity and outlook on life is humbling to say the least.

It is clear from anyone who knows him that Tony is/was a very athletic person who enjoyed many rigourous outdoor activities. Sadly, ALS has robbed him of the ability to do some of those activities and will eventually make all such physical endeavours impossible. He still gets out and does what he can (despite Dr orders) because that is just the kind of person he is.

Because of this, I have decided to take it upon myself to do the physical labors that Tony can't. He can't walk/jog/hike/bike that much anymore. So I am going to do it for him.

For every $10 this campaign raises, I will do 1 mile of cardiovascular exercise. I dropped in the first $50 and I'll be hitting up 5 miles as soon as the site goes live. The more folks donate, the more I cardio (and big picture, the more we help fund ALS research/resources). Progress will be tracked via photo/video/apps posted to my Social Medias.

Together, our impact can lead to one day living in a world without ALS. The ALS Association is helping people all over the country living with this disease and pushing closer and closer towards a treatment and a cure every single day.

Thanks so much for helping my fundraiser succeed and supporting The ALS Association and its programs.

We need more difference makers like you in this world to make it a better place. Please pass the page along to anyone else who is as awesome as you!
