This is a part of my Bat Mitzvah project. For those who don't know what a Bat Mitzvah is, it is a celebration of becoming a Jewish adult. A Bat Mitzvah project  is where the b'nei mitzvah picks an organization that is important to them to raise money and volunteer.  I wanted to make a difference in a way that felt personal to me. So I am running in honor of my  grandfather who sadly passed away in 2012.   My Bat Mitzvah project is raising money and awareness for ALS and then running in my grandfather's honor in the Houston Half Marathon in January 2019. Thank you for all the support you have given me by supporting and donating to Find a Cure for ALS and then cheering me on during the Houston Half Marathon in January - Hannah Marmo
