Back in the 70s, my father passed away from this debilitating disease. At that time, there was very little known about the cause, no treatment options and very little support available for families.  Since that time, much progress has been made medically and there is a viable support network thanks to the efforts of the ALS Association.

I'm participating in the CEO Soak to raise funds and awareness to help fight back against this terrible disease. The ALS Association Western PA Chapter provides much needed patient services, funds global research, and much more in order to help those living with ALS right in our community.  

The CEO Soak is an exciting opportunity for us to come together for a good cause, have fun (see me get soaked), and spread awareness of the urgency of our cause and to push for treatments and a cure.
