JULY 9th,  We hope everyone had a nice 4th of July.  What is it about fireworks that makes you forget all about life's trials and all the bad things happening around us. Matt is still getting donations!  Thank-you, he is so appreciative! I know I've said this 1,000 times, but the donations for this fundraiser help so many people. This will be Matt's last year participating so He will be well remembered as the CEO Soak Fundraising King!!! LOL  BUT ONLY BECAUSE OF ALL OF YOU!!!!! June 30th, It's mind blowing to see how many altruistic and loving people are supporting Matt in this fundraiser!  I realized I never really shared Matt's actual story.  So here it is in part........Matt was diagnosed with this sickening disease in November of 2021. He hasn't eaten any real food since Christmas of 2022.  Now, he cant use his hands, he can't talk and he can't swallow so he requires constant suctioning when he's on his BiPap/Vent. He can't hold his head up without support. This disease is destructive and destroys the lives of very good people like Matt. We must find the CURE!  Science is so close to identifying the gene that causes ALS.  Thank-you for being a part of this!!!!! CLOSE TO THE CURE!!!!!  much LOVE!

June 26th, Hello to all of Team Matt Henderson!  We are floored by the number of people that don't even know Matt but heard Matt's ALS Story and decided to support him in this event.  We are so extremely grateful to all of you!!!! And to all the returning Team Matt Henderson supporters he could not have reached this goal with out you!!!!!  And to all his Brother Rats 85' 85' 85', thanks for all the love you showed him through your words and giving.

JUNE 18th- Hi ALL!  Thanks so much for generosity and love for Matt and for joining us in our desire to end this disease and help other families in the process!  Matt's has really struggled over the last year.  He is unable to hold his head up on his own and has lost function of both hands on top of not being able to eat, drink, or talk.  Praise God for the ALS Association and the VA of Butler and Pittsburgh for all their help!  Matt communicates more effectively now through his Tobii Eye Gaze device and his power chair has been "juiced" up to carry all the medical equipment on the back so he can go outside or travel much easier!(Thanks to Mike and AnnMarie for all their time and hard work.) Pray for Matt on Thursday he will be getting a Pulmonary test to see if he qualifies for an Expanded Access treatment called RAPA. Please pray hard!!!! We are so grateful to everyone!!!!!  We are so grateful and hearing from you all brings Matt joy through his daily struggles.  keep up the messages  to him and the prayers!  Much Love, Matt and Jenn

JUNE 4th- THANK YOU RVM Riders! The RVM riders will be setting out on another journey and are dedicating the first day of their fundraising tour to Matt and the ALS CEO Soak!!!! The ride takes place from June 19-22. Matt and I will be praying for your safety. God Bless the the RVM Riders!  Rah Virginia Mil!!!

The date is set for the 2024 CEO Soak.  Thanks so much for all your support the last 2 years.  Because of all your love and generosity Team Matt Henderson raised 47,000.00 in 2023! Your donations helped the ALS Association accomplish so many things and helped so many ALS families suffering from this devastating disease, in addition, Team Matt has been the TOP FUNDRAISER 2 years in a row!!!
