ALS Awareness Day at Jay Peak
Join us for an ALS Ski & Ride-A-Thon at Jay Peak Resort on Saturday, February 10, 2024 to raise awareness about ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and support the ALS Association. Proceeds will go towards discovering treatments and a cure for ALS, and towards serving, advocating for, and empowering people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest. This event is held in memory and honor of Jim Glabicky, who lost his battle with ALS in 2017.
If you are ready to hit the trails for a good cause, register for the event online to set up your fundraising page. If you register by February 3, you’ll be given a discount on your lift ticket for the day. Once you’ve registered, share your personal page with your family and friends to gather donations. Or if you would like to make a donation using a check, please mail the check to the ALS Association office at 200 Friberg Parkway, Suite 1000, Westborough, MA 01581. Please make the check payable to "The ALS Association" and add "ALS Ski & Ride-A-Thon at Jay Peak" to the memo line.
Then, on February 10th, find us in the Foeger 1, Hotel Jay Conference Center at Jay Peak’s Tramside Base Area to check-in or register the morning of the event. Ski from 8:30am to 4:00pm, and take a break at 12:30pm back in the Foeger 1 for a brief presentation, and award prizes for our top fundraisers.
During the day, stop by Miso Hungry at their Rice Ball location at the Stateside Base or their Tram Car location at the Tramside Base. Jordan, and Miso, have generously offered to donate a portion of their proceeds back to the ALS Association.

HOW IT WORKS
- Register for the event online

- Start skiing (alpine/nordic), snowboarding, or snowshoeing
PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE
- Discounted lift ticket (must register by Feb 3)
- Unlimited skiing, riding, x-country skiing, snowshoeing
- Prize Opportunities (ski/stay package, lift tickets, waterpark passes)
EVENT DAY SCHEDULE
- 8:00am: Day of Registration & Check-in; Foeger 1, Hotel Jay Conference Center, Tramside
- 8:30am-4:00pm: Ski/Ride/Snowshoe
- 11:00am-5:00pm: Ramen & Rice Balls, Miso Hungry, Tramside/Stateside, a portion of the day’s sales will be donated to the ALS Association
- 12:30pm: ALS Presentation/Awards; Foeger 1, Hotel Jay Conference Center, Tramside Base Area
