Forever Young

My Great Aunt Connie, one of my favorite people on the planet, has been battling ALS for almost two years. Connie has always inspired me (and likely everyone that knows her) to live each day to the fullest. As I approach a new decade, my only birthday wish is to do whatever I can to help prevent other families from experiencing the devastating impacts of this disease. ​

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. There is currently no cure.

The ALS Association’s goal is to make ALS livable for everyone, everywhere, until it is cured. Your support will allow the Iowa Chapter to continue leading the fight against ALS in research, advocacy, and care services locally.
