Running Los Angeles Marathon 2025 for ALS Association
I'll be updating this page soon with some thought-out yap.
In the meantime, here's what you need to know:
I'm doing it all over again, 26.2 miles from the Dodger Stadium to Century City, with a little loop-de-doop around Brentwood just before the finish line. Yes, it's the actual nutjob malarkey better known as the LA Marathon. This time I'll be raising money for the fine folks at the ALS Association. Motor Neurone Disease (also known as ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease) is my mom Maggie's charity pick for 2025.
Here's the official word on the ALS Association from the charity itself:
The ALS Association’s goal is to make ALS livable for everyone, everywhere, until it is cured.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. There is currently no cure.
That is why I started this fundraiser. Your support will allow The ALS Association to continue leading the fight against ALS in research, advocacy, and care services nationwide.
Will you donate today to help defeat ALS?
