We are participating in Ride to Defeat ALS to raise funds and awareness to help fight back against this terrible disease. My brother, Mike Petrovic, sadly passed away from ALS on November 13, 2022 at his home in Graham, WA. He passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family after a battle with the ALS. He was an amazing person who spread joy and happiness wherever he went. His positive energy, kindness and humor are missed every day.
It was always important to Mike to help others reach their potential and achieve their goals both physically and mentally. He owned a fitness gym for many years and was a personal trainer, a coach, a mentor and a friend to everyone who entered his gym. His positive approach towards physical fitness, and his belief in everyone pushing themselves to achieve their goals, was contagious.
The ALS Association provides much needed patient services resources, funds global, cutting edge research, and a great deal more in order to help those living with ALS right in our community.
In honor of my brother, Mike, and everyone affected by this horrible disease, I'm asking you, and your family, to join my team in this Ride. In honor of Mike's memory of believing in everyone setting goals and striving to achieve them, and for my 50th birthday celebration, I'm asking for you to push yourself to ride 50 miles.
