2022 SoCal Ride and Rally to Defeat ALS

Ernie's Dream Team

Thanks for visiting our team page. Ernie's Dream Team first came to light at the EF Wallengren ALS Hoopfest in 2003 after the passing of Ernest "Ernie" Ferrin Wallengren, a beloved husband and father, successful Hollywood writer, and Calabasas High School boys basketball coach. Ernie left behind a true legacy and a dream to create a world without ALS. Since it's inception, the E.F. Wallengren Fund has raised over $750,000+. Year after year, we come together in Ernie's memory and in memory, honor, and support of the entire ALS community. Because the ALS Hoopfest has taken a hiatus in 2022, we chose to carry on the team through the Golden West Chapter's numerous events that support Ernie's dream in finding cures. Together we are challenging ALS and making a difference in the lives of those impacted by this devastating disease. We are a part of Team Challenge ALS and the SoCal Ride because we are committed to raising money and awareness to support people right in our community who are living with ALS. The time is now to join us and help us push towards treatments and cures.
