I am running Grandma's Marathon in loving memory of Lynn Giovannelli. Lynn was diagnosed with ALS on July 27, 2020 and passed away late last year. Even though Lynn battled this terrible disease for over three years she never let it get the best of her. She always had the biggest smile on her face and inspired each person that she came in contact with. I got the chance to connect with Lynn many times during her journey and she always inspired me to be a better person and reminded me countless times to make my faith a priority . I am honored to raise money for a disease that Lynn was so passionate about spreading awareness for. Even though Lynn is no longer with us her joyful spirit lives on in the countless lives that she impacted. "Life is a gift, love is the point."
I'm participating in Team Challenge ALS to raise funds and awareness to help fight back against this terrible disease. The ALS Association provides much needed patient services resources, funds global, cutting edge research, and much more in order to help those living with ALS right in our community.
Challenging ALS is important to me and was important to Lynn. I'm asking for your help. Please make a donation, join my team, or sign up to be a volunteer today.
