2020 Ride_Event Details

The Ride to Defeat ALS is a one-day cycling event, taking place this year on Saturday, June 11th, designed for people of all ages and riding abilities. The Ride is an opportunity to rally together, honor and remember our loved ones, and support our shared vision – to create a world without ALS.

We offer five distance options - 100, 75, 50, 25, and 6 miles - the ride will be both starting and ending at Morey's Piers in Wildwood, NJ!

Every participant can count on support from start to finish with rest stops, SAG vehicles, and police along the route. Upon completing the Ride, participants are welcomed to the End Point at Morey’s Piers by cheering crowds and finish line festivities including entertainment, a delicious luncheon, and two complimentary weekend passes to Morey’s Piers Amusement and Water Parks!

Suggested Fundraising Minimum

It is suggested that all participants 18 and older raise a minimum of $150 in donations to support the ALS community. Fundraising for The ALS Association is a very direct way of supporting our mission, and with each person you ask to support you, you are also spreading important awareness for ALS. Fundraising is easy and fun -- and we are here to help you get started and to surpass this fundraising goal!  If you are a first-time fundraiser or are interested in learning more, check out our Fundraising Tips and Tools. Our staff is another resource for you and we will be here for you at every step of the way! Don’t hesitate to reach out and we can come up with a fundraising plan together!
