Barbara was born in 1940, the year before Lou Gehrig lost his battle with ALS.  She lived until December of 2002, fighting her battle the last three years of her life.  The picture of health; always health-conscious, healthy eating style, never overweight, excercised on a regular basis: none of that matters with ALS.  Please help in the fight to find a treatment and eventually a cure.  Any contribution will be greatly appreciated by the ALS Association Kentucky Chapter and by Barbara's family.
