William Ambrose Barney 69, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and outlaw died February 20 after a courages battle with Parkinson’s at his home in Roswell, GA. He was proceeded in death by his parents Winifred and Charles and his brother in-law Jack Lee. Survived by his beloved wife Molly Lee Barney, sons Blake (Marissa) and Brett, grandson Leo Ambrose, brothers Bob (Donna) and Bruce (Cindy) in-laws Mary Pat Lee and Jim Scheibel, Chrissy Lee, Bob and Julie Lee, Katie and Tim Caito, Maggie Lee and Richard Dunn, Tom and Bridget Lee, Martha and Joe Thimmesh several nieces and nephews and countless friends. Bill was smart, successful, incredible sense of humor, huge sports fan (Roll Tide) and a loving family man. He will be missed by many but mostly by his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church Marietta, GA on Friday, March 1 at 11am with visitation at 10 am. The service will be broadcast live at www.St-Ann.org/watch-live. Memorial contributions maybe sent to Minnesota ALS Foundation, where Bill has been active for the past several years.
Lee, Jack 58, loving husband, father and brother, died after a brave and inspiring fight with ALS, on May 23 at his home in Eden Prairie. He was preceded in death by parents Peggy and Dick Lee, and survived by beloved wife, Christina Carlson Lee, daughters Samantha and Annie, as well as siblings, Mary Pat (Jim Scheibel); Molly Barney (Bill); Bob (Julie); Katie Caito (Tim); Maggie (Rich Dunn); Tom (Bridget); Martha (Joe Timmesh). Jack will be deeply missed by the many people whose lives he touched. A memorial service will be held at Grace Church in Eden Prairie on June 5, at 11am with visitation at 10am. The service will be broadcast live; contact Grace Church for viewing information. Memorials may go to The ALS Association Minnesota and Minnesota Teen Challenge.
