Patricia's Pals

We are always so serious together!

We need to let people with ALS know they are not alone.  ALS affects more than nerve cells and muscles, it affects families, friends, co-workers, and communities.

With no known cause or cure, ALS challenges the human spirit and tests the courage of everyone touched by this devastating disease.

However, we can work together to create a Community of Hope that restores dreams and builds courage.  Our community gives strength and hope to our loved ones, neighbors, and friends facing the fear and uncertainty of ALS.

This particular page is in honor of one of my best friends, PATRICIA GREGORY. I, however, am not the only one who loves her, thus the reason I have given her page the name PATRICIA'S PALS. We are allowed to choose how much we would like to raise to honor someone -- $2002.00 -- that's my goal. Actually I hope we go WAY over that. Why that odd number, you ask? Because 2002 is the year this goof-ball woman came in to my life and a funny, loving, living, sacred friendship began and continues to this day.

Your gifts will make this possible.  Please click the donation button to the right and give generously.

Thank you for helping us build a Community of Hope!

It is awesome already to have received phone calls, texts and messages from several of you who are so excited about this page. I hope you will join me in spreading the word. Patricia is wheelchair bound now -- she has great difficulty in speaking -- but her spirit, her faith, her love of life remains strong. Some of you may know her by her years as a faithful member of Hendersonville: First United Methodist Church; some of you may have met her through the Walk to Emmaus ... oh, for goodness sake: some of you may have met her in the grocery store! That's my friend! ... no one is a stranger. And how blessed I am for my goofy, loving, laughing, living, Godly friend who will continue to sing God's praises and love those around her -- including me, especially when I drive her NUTS (but, that's my job).
