ALS affects more than nerve cells and muscles, it affects families, friends, co-workers and communities. When our father, Stan Wnoroski turns 80 on Aug. 26, 2021, his beloved wife Marlene, our wonderful loving mother, won't be here to celebrate the milestone because she lost her battle with ALS in 2004. Please consider making a donation to this fund in lieu of birthday gifts for our dad.
With no known cause or cure, ALS challenges the human spirit and tests the courage of everyone touched by this devastating disease. My dad, my sister and I watched our mom courageously fight this battle that left her completely paralyzed and unable to communicate. Even though she couldn’t speak, we know in the end that she loved us unconditionally and there isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t think of her and miss her. I know she will be there in spirit on my dad's 80th birthday.
We can work together to find a cure and ensure that other moms are there to see their daughters get married and celebrate birthdays. We can find a cure, but we need help – scientists need funding for research. Your donation made today in honor of Marlene will help find a cure for a terminal disease that robs families of life’s precious moments.
Please click the donation button to the right and give generously.
Thank you for helping us build a Community of Hope and for honoring our mother.
With love and thanks - Kathy Wnoroski-Vaci and Dawn Wnoroski-McClaren
