John Pfeiffer is not a man known for sitting down and taking it easy. He's the father of 7 children, 2 grandchildren and best buddy to our family dogs. In addition to working several jobs prior to retirement in 2005, he was a serious bowler, coach to many an IHM sports team, fisherman, hiker, athletic supporter, devoted attendee of the 10:30 mass at IHM and gardener extraordinaire. Always on the go, he leads a simple but rich life.
ALS changed all of that... the man who hiked over the 20,000 foot Salkantay peak in 2006, on the way to Machu Picchu, has been stripped of his freedom. ALS has robbed him of so many simple joys, from eating his favorite foods to walking outdoors and breathing in the fresh air & enjoying the sunshine.
No one should have to suffer through this horrific disease. Team Pfeiffer will not go down without a fight and so we ask you to please help us. Help all of those that are suffering from or affected by ALS.
Make a donation in our father (and husband's) name ... show this disease that we're stronger!
We love you j2p!!
