In memory of Roxann Ferreira and her personal battle with ALS; I want to thank you for your generosity.  My family and I are grateful for the time we had with my mother. She was an incredible friend, daughter, sister, beautiful wife and adoring mother.  I think I truely understand that even more as we have gone through this crazy heartbreaking disease. The support from our family, friends and community has been beyond what we could have ever imagined.

My mom was mis-diagnosed in August/September of 2020 (which is common with ALS) and then correctly diagnosed in February of 2021 this year. ALS can be so brutal taking your mobility, speech, ability to eat and drink and evenually your breath away. It was all so fast and maybe thats also the blessing. My mother passed peacefully on June 28, 2021 with her family. She will be so dearly missed but always with us in every smile we share-love you mom forever and always..Simone

We need to let people with ALS know they are not alone.  ALS affects more than nerve cells and muscles, it affects families, friends, co-workers, and communities. 

With no known cause or cure, ALS challenges the human spirit and tests the courage of everyone touched by this devastating disease.

However, we can work together to create a Community of Hope that restores dreams and builds courage.  Our community gives strength and hope to our loved ones, neighbors, and friends facing the fear and uncertainty of ALS.
