Hello Family and Friends.
After battling this devastating disease for 6 1/2 years, Jon's journey ended on 08 December 2018. During those years his efforts to call attention to ALS and help find a cure did not go unnoticed. He was honored with the inaugural Walk HERO Award at the 2016 Los Angeles Walk.
On 04 July 2020 Barb's sister-in-law emailed us that she was diagnosed with ALS. We never thought we'd see ALS in our family circle again. Maris passed last year so, I will be walking in memory of Jon and Maris at the 2022 Greater Los Angeles Walk to Defeat ALS which wwill be returning to Exposition Park.
This year has created high levels of concern, staying safe and doing our best to avoid the corona virus. Realizing that all of us are also facing financial difficulties due to "the virus" we are not asking you to donate to our fund raising effort this year. We appreciate your past support and if you feel you can afford to donate "a few bucks" this year please do so = thank you.
