Since being diagnosed with ALS in February 2014, our world has changed significantly. Without the support of our family, friends and the ALS Association we would never have made it throught these past almost 10 years. Part of our family mission has become to help support others going through similar struggles. One way of achieveing that goal is by supporting our local ALS Association. The funds raised through events, walks, and the ice bucket challenge make meaningful impact to those afflicted with this condition. The ALS Association has helped our family in tangible ways by providing expertise, a mobility scooter and other medical equipment for our home. Their empasis on funding research projects aimed at finding a cure is crucial to all of those who suffer from ALS.
