Walk check-in: 8:30am Walk: 9am
We're walking in memory of my mom, Barb Fealy. She died from ALS & FTD January 2022 after battling for 2 years. I miss her dearly and all her family and friends do too. She cared a lot about her family and people with disabilities. It's difficult to remember the mom I had before illness, but I absolutely remember how much she loved us.
Donate what you can. ALS is an absolutely horrendous disease for all involved. The ALS Association helped us by providing resources and lending very expensive medical equipment. When they say they need help and run on bare bones, they mean it.
Thanks for your support. I hope to see you at the walk. After, we'll likely go out to eat for lunch if you're interested.
Sincerely,
Dee

"It is best to park in the North lot next to Ikea and go across the bridge crossing Lindau Lane. Inside the door, there will be elevators and escalators that you can take to the 3rd level and proceed to the private space through the doors on the painted wall. There will be balloons by the entrance."

ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
