Dear friends and family. What a difference a year makes. I reached out to you last August for donations to the ALS Association because my sister-in-law, Nancy Luke, was diagnosed with this devastating disease. I am reaching out once again because the ALS circle in our family has grown. My sweet husband Steve is now battling ALS. The two of them are absolutely amazing with their positive attitudes, and the ability to cope with what is happening now, and what is ahead. I have seen firsthand what the ALS Association can do. The ALSA provides access to treatments, research, and Care Services program with services like;  medical equipment loans, clinical checkups, resource referral, disease navigation, support groups, and more. To be honest I feel awkward asking for money again, because we were so graciously gifted with Steve’s Go Fund Me page. This is an entirely different request. This is not just for us. It is for everybody in the ALS world.
