ALS is still a horrible disease to be reckoned with. The Ice Bucket Challenge of 2014 made history for its unique approach to providing vital funds for research, as well as significant funds to chapters including the Northern Ohio Chapter. Every 90 minutes someone is diagnosed with ALS. Today the ALS Association Northern Ohio Chapter continues to support pALS (persons with ALS) through vital Care Services, Research and Advocacy across 33 Northern Ohio counties.

The key to unlocking the mysteries of ALS starts with you as one of Paul’s Crew! You and our friends’ support will drive the bold and urgent innovations that will lead to improved treatments for ALS and someday, a cure. (We currently fund over 165 active ALS research projects worldwide.)

Our work is not done yet — Paul’s Crew and others need your help to keep making progress, supporting people with ALS and taking steps toward a cure.

While the Toledo Walk to Defeat ALS will be held October 8 at the city of Toledo’s Promenade Park, Paul’s Crew will be fundraising in other ways. You’re welcome to ask me about those events as I expect to gather friends and supporters in my home and in area sites during September and October.
