In 2009 my dad was diagnosed with ALS and shortly after lost his battle with the ugly disease in January of 2012. Most recently my mom Sheila was diagnosed with ALS in August of 2022. She is on a rapid free fall and in just a few short weeks since her diagnosis she has lost the ability to stand up, move her right arm, or move her legs/feet. I have personally dealt with this before as I took care of my dad. This is a very tough time for our family as it is with any family dealing with ALS. Any support would be greatly appreciated and can't wait to see everyone on November 12th for the Orange County Walk to defeat ALS.

ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
