Let's do this in 2022! Thank you for considering donating... here's part of the story of why this is a cause close to my heart.

When my dad started losing his strength and grip, we thought it was just "old age... "  which seemed silly for a man who was so healthy and vibrant at 72.  When the diagnosis was ALS... it was a shock. We did our best in caring for him, as it progressed, ensuring we had plenty of conversations, grateful for, sharp mind. But physically, it's really a terrible and uncomfortable road. There was no support to be found in 1991-94. We navigated it as a family. Fast forward to 2002 when the chapter was formed in San Diego, and these last decades...we would have benefited greatly from such help, and thankfully, hundreds of families have. 

Now... you can help the Chapter help others facing ALS in their life. For 21 years I have donated time and energy to our chapter and this year I once again am leading our Wally's Walkers with in-person and virtual walkers... to raise funds to keep this amazing resource going full force.  No person with ALS or their family is ever asked to pay for anything. But the funds help the chapter operate to keep it that way.

Every dollar... from 10- 10-thousand (a girl can dream!) will impact not only the bank account... but the compassionate investment to change and encourage those living with ALS. Thank you for being part of it.
