WHY WE WALK:
At the end of July 2021, our family’s world was rocked when Todd was diagnosed with ALS. No cure, no treatment. We were told to go home, get our affairs in order and to live the best life while you can. What? No thanks - not for us. It took a minute but then our family rallied behind Todd with nothing but a ton of love and positivity. And as Todd told Betsy on one of their first dates playing darts at Vitucci's in Milwaukee, “Witts rarely lose” - and we are determined NOT to lose to ALS! We’re over two years into Todd’s diagnosis and he is holding strong, steady, and more determined than ever to defeat ALS. Todd has been accepted into a stem cell trial at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN and we are so hopeful for the possibilities it might bring.
Together we can make a difference for Todd and for all those affected by ALS. The Witt Wolfpack is committed to raising money to support all those in our community with ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure. Last year we raised over $130,000 for ALS!! And this year we are determined to raise even more - #letsdowitt!
