Year 7 for Team Legacy!
Our story began in October of 2016 when the pillar of our family, our dad, was diagnosed with ALS. With there being no cure for this fatal disease, and so little known about it, it has become very important to us to do our part in changing those things. Participating in this Walk is one of the ways we do that.
The most amazing part of our journey so far, has been witnessing and experiencing the power of love and support. We’ve experienced that love and support in many ways over the years, but one of the biggest has been participation in this event.
When a group of people gets together for a particular cause-to stand together and make a difference-it’s an exhilarating feeling. If you’ve never experienced that in life, I encourage you to.
