Walk with The Wright Team to Cure ALS
Event: | Houston Walk |
Date: | Saturday, October 28, 2023 |
Team: | The Wright Team |
Thank you for helping me reach my Walk to Defeat ALS(R) fundraising goal! It's been four years since we lost my brother-in-law, Freddie Johnston to this debilitating disease. My dear friend, John Wright was diagnosed with ALS nearly five years ago and I cannot tell you how difficult this is to know that John is faced with the same disease. John's wife Jacqueline is truly my best friend. Their daughter, Jessica is our God-Child, a junior at the University of Miami, and their oldest daughter, Nicole is studying at Baylor College of Medicine. She graduated with Nick from Memorial. John has been my neighbor and close friend for 25 years. He is a selfless man who truly loves his family and friends. The Wright family is committed to moving forward and making the most of their time together despite the challenges of ALS. We ask for your support of our ALS fundraiser to help us find a cure for this life-altering disease.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neuromuscular disease that slowly impacts the ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. ALS can strike anyone, and there is no known cause or cure.
Please consider walking with me or sponsoring me. With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease.
